Job Description

As a Finance Manager, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing financial operations and reporting.
  • Ensuring compliance with local and international accounting standards.
  • Managing budgets, forecasts, and financial planning processes.
  • Analysing financial data to support decision-making and strategy.
  • Coordinating with internal and external auditors for financial reviews.
  • Implementing and maintaining internal controls to safeguard assets.
  • Providing guidance to finance teams across the region.
  • Driving process improvements and efficiency in financial operations.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance Manager should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
  • CPA, ACCA or equivalent professional qualification preferred
  • 10+ years of relevant experiences.
  • Previous experiences in logistic and shipping industries will be an advantage.
  • Proficient in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, etc.)
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial analysis skills
  • Knowledge of taxation, compliance, and statutory reporting requirements
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience coordinating internal and external audits
