Job Description

Job Responsibilities

  • Managing and maintaining the organization's IT applications to ensure seamless operations;
  • Overseeing the deployment of new technologies (Real-Time Quotations system) and upgrades to existing systems;
  • Ensuring data security and compliance with relevant regulations;
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to understand and address IT requirements;
  • Developing and implementing IT strategies aligned with business objectives;
  • Supervising a team of IT professionals and coordinating their activities effectively;
  • Managing vendor relationships and negotiating contracts for IT services and equipment;
  • Monitoring IT budgets and ensuring cost-effective technology investments.

The Successful Applicant

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science/ related field
  • At least 6 - 8 years of experience managing retail IT applications and systems, including POS, eCommerce, infrastructure, and operations within the retail, FMCG, or related industries;
  • Experience with real time pricing system/ Real-Time Quotations system is a MUST.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills;
  • Ability to lead and manage a team effectively;
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and vendors;
  • Knowledge of data security and compliance standards;
  • Capability to align IT strategies with business goals.
  • Bilingual (Cantonese and English).
