About Our Client

A leading multinational infrastructure group is seeking an Assistant Finance Manager to play a key role in driving financial reporting, month-end close, budgeting, forecasting and project finance analysis across a dynamic business environment.

Job Description

  • Oversee the end-to-end accounting function, ensuring accurate month-end closing and financial reporting.
  • Prepare and analyze budgets, forecasts, and project financial performance to support business planning and decision-making.
  • Manage statutory audits for subsidiaries and joint ventures, coordinating closely with external auditors and internal stakeholders.
  • Oversee corporate tax compliance, including the preparation of income tax computations and statutory filings.
  • Lead accounts payable and daily finance operations while maintaining strong internal controls and compliance standards.
  • Drive process enhancement initiatives to improve operational efficiency, reporting accuracy, and finance workflows.
  • Support business projects and undertake ad hoc financial analysis and assignments as required by management.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
  • Professional accounting qualification (HKICPA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent).
  • 5+ years of relevant accounting and finance background, a combination of Big 4 audit and commercial experience.
  • Solid understanding of HKFRS, Hong Kong tax regulations, statutory reporting requirements, and financial compliance standards.
  • Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
  • Great communication skills in English and Chinese, with the ability to build effective relationships across different stakeholders.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and detail-oriented professional who can manage multiple priorities, and contribute positively within a collaborative team environment.
