About Our Client
Our client is a global leading logistics company with business in sea freight, air freight and supply chain solutions. It has a long established history for over 150 years with stable growing business in its over 300 offices around the globe. It has been established in Hong Kong for more than 35 years with strong industry base and growth potential.
This role is a regional sales oriented role for their new program - transpacific trade lanes. This person will work with the product heads and trade lane development counter pats to pursue sales strategies, target lists, volume goals, etc. for all field sales. This person will be responsible for communication, alignment and execution of said strategies together with local resources plus nominated overseas counterparts. This person needs to actively participate with sales and trade management in product enhancements, developments and pricing discussions. This person will also work closely with overseas counterparts and provide regular updates of trade lane development to management. This person will also have to develop short and long term business plan based on customer's strategic and stretch goals.
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate will have in depth experience with transpacific trade lanes and has strong customer base. This person will need to be hands on with sales and customer communication activities. The person should has at least 5 years of trade and product development experience within the industry and strong operational trade knowledge with Asia and North America market, especially within Greater China. This person needs to be able to work with MNCs and has good analytic, problem solving and negotiation skills. Excellent communication and presentation skills in both spoken and written English and Mandarin is a must.
