Job Description

As a VP Financial Reporting, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing the preparation and submission of accurate financial statements in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Ensuring adherence to accounting and financial reporting standards within the organization.
  • Managing financial audits and collaborating with external auditors to ensure timely completion.
  • Developing and implementing financial policies and procedures to enhance efficiency.
  • Providing insights and recommendations to senior management on financial performance and strategy.
  • Monitoring and analyzing financial data to identify trends and potential risks.
  • Leading a team of finance professionals to achieve departmental objectives.
  • Staying up-to-date with changes in financial regulations and industry standards.

The Successful Applicant

A successful VP Financial Reporting should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Professional qualifications such as CPA or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements in the financial services industry.
  • Proven ability to manage financial audits and liaise with external auditors.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
