This role will report directly to the Head of Legal and Compliance whilst managing a small team. This role will be responsible for all regulatory and general compliance matters.
  • Looking for 10+ years of buyside compliance experience !
  • Equivalent to Head of Compliance level !

About Our Client

My client is one of the largest financial services group with separate entities for securities, insurance, bank, and fintech. This particular entity will focus on their asset management business. They have about 100 staff in this entity with strong presence globally.

Job Description

  • This role will report directly to the Head of Legal & Compliance whilst managing a small team
  • This role can eventually be a step up to their Head of Compliance
  • This role will be the main point of contact with the SFC regulators
  • The main duties include regulatory compliance, review marketing materials, SFC regulatory duties, and product compliance duties
  • This role will assist on investment compliance when necessary

The Successful Applicant

  • bachelor degree
  • 10+ years of asset management compliance experience
  • preferably have both chinese and international firm background
  • must have strong experiences in handling SFC regulatory work
  • must be fluent in chinese and english
  • must be able to read and write chinese
