The firm's investment approach focuses on identifying and executing on complex, differentiated opportunities across the energy value chain and core infrastructure assets globally. This includes investments in renewable energy, midstream oil & gas, power generation, transportation, and utilities, among other verticals.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth market research, industry analysis, and due diligence on prospective investment opportunities
  • Financial modeling and valuation analysis to assess the risk/return profile of potential deals
  • Develop investment theses and prepare comprehensive investment memoranda to present to the investment committee
  • Monitor and report on the performance of the firm's portfolio companies, identifying value creation opportunities and managing exit processes
  • Provide mentorship and oversight to junior analysts, guiding their work and professional development

The Successful Applicant

Required Qualifications:

  • 6-8 years of relevant experience in investment banking, private equity, infrastructure investing, or a similar role focused on the energy and infrastructure sectors
  • Deep domain expertise in at least one of the following energy/infrastructure verticals: renewable energy (solar, wind, hydro, etc.), midstream oil & gas, power generation, transportation (roads, rails, ports, airports), or utilities
  • Proven track record of successfully evaluating, underwriting, and executing complex transactions in the energy and/or infrastructure space
  • Strong technical knowledge of industry fundamentals, market dynamics, regulatory frameworks, and emerging trends impacting the sectors
  • Fluency in analyzing and modeling the unique characteristics of energy and infrastructure assets, including cash flow profiles, capital expenditures, and risk factors
  • Experience working with engineering, technical, and operational teams to conduct rigorous due diligence on physical assets
  • Knowledge of the Asia-Pacific energy and infrastructure landscape, including key markets, regulations, and competitive dynamics
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
