Job Description

  • Act as the Type 9 Responsible Officer under the SFC, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to comply with SFC licensing requirements.
  • Oversee the management of investment portfolios, ensuring strategies align with client objectives and risk profiles.
  • Monitor market conditions and investment performance, providing strategic insights to senior management.
  • Liaise with the SFC and other regulatory bodies, responding to inquiries and managing submissions.
  • Conduct regular compliance audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential issues.
  • Provide training and support to staff on compliance matters and regulatory changes.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation as required by the SFC.
  • Foster strong client relationships through effective communication and service delivery.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in asset management or financial services.
  • Proven experience as a Responsible Officer in a Type 9 licensed entity.
  • In-depth knowledge of SFC regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA) are preferred.
