Job Description

  • Provide real-time support for trading applications, market data feeds, and order management systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, networks, and trading platforms.
  • Act as the first point of contact for traders and front-office staff for IT-related issues.
  • Monitor system performance and proactively identify potential issues.
  • Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to implement fixes and enhancements.
  • Maintain and update support documentation, runbooks, and knowledge bases.
  • Participate in incident management, root cause analysis, and post-mortem reviews.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and security standards.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in a trade floor or financial services support role.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix, Windows, and scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
  • Familiarity with trading systems, FIX protocol, and market data platforms (e.g., Bloomberg, Reuters).
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk, ITRS Geneos, Nagios) is a plus.
  • Fluent in English
