With their rapid business growth, they are now looking for a Trade Compliance Director who is familiar with International Trade Regulations and Compliance to oversee their team for APAC markets.Job DescriptionOversee compliance of all FTZ operations and processes supporting all International Import/ Export Trade Environment and maximising savingsDevelop and implement comprehensive trade compliance strategies and policies to ensure compliance with all applicable requirements from US Customs and Border Protection and Government AgenciesServe as the primary point of contact for all trade compliance matters, providing guidance and support to internal stakeholders, including procurement, legal, logistics, and sales teamsStay up to date with changes in trade regulations, international trade agreements, and customs laws to ensure ongoing compliance and proactively adapt policies and procedures accordingly.Support customs and Trade Compliance matters such as FTZ, HTZ, NAFTA, ECCN, ITAR, EAR, CTPAT or other global supply chain security programsResponsible for RFQ and all contract review for Transportation and Supply Chain services, IT systemsEnsure timely processing of all import/ export clearancesLead internal investigations and manage the resolution of trade compliance incidents or violations, implementing corrective actions and process improvements as necessaryThe Successful ApplicantBachelor's degree in Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field8+ years work experience in Trade Compliance in US companies overseeing APAC markets beforeSolid knowledge of US trade regulations, including ITAR, EAR, and OFAC requirements, and experience working with international trade agreementsStrong understanding of customs laws, import/export controls, and trade compliance best practicesStrong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholdersInnovative, strong Commercial sense and excellent influencing skillsHighly fluent in English, Mandarin, Cantonese5% - 10% business travelWhat's on OfferAttractive package will be offered to the shortlisted candidate.
