About Our Client

Our client is one of a leading insurance group globally, where it has covered 18 markets across the Asia Pacific Regions. They have served more than million customers all over the world with extensive range of insurance product including saving plans, retirement solutions and so on.

They are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior System Analyst to join their team. As a Senior System Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the company's goals by leveraging information technology. You will be responsible for delivery the project, analyzing existing user requirements, implementing new computer systems, and migrating on-premise applications to Azure Cloud. Your primary objective will be to ensure the smooth production run of application systems and assist users in fully utilizing these systems. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Azure, JAVA, insurance knowledge as this will provide a significant advantage in fulfilling the responsibilities of this role.

Job Description

  • Response on project delivery, implementation as well as solution design
  • Analyze and understand existing user requirements, business processes, and system functionalities.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document detailed user requirements and system specifications.
  • Design, develop, and implement systems that align with business goals and requirements.
  • Migrate on-premise applications to Azure Cloud, ensuring a smooth transition and optimal system performance.
  • Perform system testing, quality assurance, and user acceptance testing to ensure system reliability and functionality.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to users, addressing their queries and issues related to the application systems.
  • Monitor and maintain the performance, availability, and security of application systems, taking proactive measures to ensure smooth production runs.
  • Identify areas for system enhancement and propose innovative solutions to improve overall system efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, infrastructure teams, and business users, to ensure successful system implementations and seamless integration with existing systems.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a technical delivery lead or similar role, applicants with insurance industry background is a must
  • Solid understanding of information technology principles, system analysis methodologies, and software development lifecycles.
  • Proficiency in Azure Cloud, including experience with migration projects and managing cloud-based applications.
  • Strong knowledge of JAVA programming and development frameworks.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Experience in system testing, quality assurance, and user acceptance testing.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects with competing priorities.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
