Job Description

As a Technical Consultant/ Manager (Infrastructure Automation), your main responsibilities will include:

  • Analyse the current IT infrastructure operations, workflows, and processes to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and optimization opportunities across teams such as Platform Services, Network & Security, Cloud Engineering, and Application Operations.
  • Recommend and design improvements using automation, Infrastructure as Code, cloud-native technologies, and modern engineering practices.
  • Lead end-to-end automation initiatives using tools such as RPA, Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent, from feasibility assessment to implementation and adoption.
  • Lead infrastructure projects, including new solution rollout and enhancement of existing services.
  • Coordinate with infrastructure teams to improve cloud efficiency and cost management practices

The Successful Applicant

A successful Technical Consultant/ Manager (Infrastructure Automation) should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure/ IT operations within mid to large organizations
  • Proven track record in process analysis, infrastructure operations improvement, and delivering automation outcomes
  • Professional certifications such as ITIL, Azure, Alibaba Cloud, Oracle Cloud, or DevOps are advantage
  • Knowledge and practical experience with automation and scripting tools (e.g., Power Automate, Ansible, Terraform, RPA solutions).
  • Proficiency in technology systems and tools relevant to the role.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • An analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving and innovation.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
