Job Description

  • Led a team of software engineers in the development and maintenance of cloud-native applications, ensuring their high performance and contributing to team success.
  • Adapted quickly to fast-paced changes driven by business goals and compliance requirements.
  • Collaborated with product owners, architects, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Provided technical guidance to the team, including conducting code reviews and maintaining coding standards and best practices.
  • Engaged in all stages of software development, from design and development to testing, maintenance, integration, and documentation.
  • Built and maintained scalable, reliable, and high-performing cloud infrastructure using platforms such as AWS and Azure.
  • Worked independently while maintaining close collaboration with team members.
  • Explored innovative technologies and made recommendations on achieving project-defined business and technical requirements.

The Successful Applicant

  • Holds a BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Min. 5 years of relevant experience in software development, encompassing both frontend and backend.
  • Demonstrates solid expertise in architecting and building scalable data platforms.
  • Possesses strong skills in SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
  • Proficient in React, Next.js, Node.js, Java, or Python.
  • Experienced in managing and delivering customer-facing and in-house software applications and systems.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in API development, system integration, microservices, business reporting, OOP, and software engineering concepts and best practices.
  • Experience with Cloud Technologies such as Data Lake, Azure, Google, AWS, etc.
  • Familiarity with Git, agile methodologies, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Experience in cloud-based development, preferably with AWS or Azure, is a plus.
