Job Description

  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies and processes to optimize sales operation, order fulfillment, warehouse operations, and forecasting for consumer electronics products.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including sales, marketing, and manufacturing, to gather demand forecasts and ensure accurate inventory planning.
  • Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and monitor supplier performance to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of materials and components.
  • Oversee the order fulfillment process, including order entry, allocation, shipping, and delivery, to ensure on-time and in-full product availability.
  • Monitor and analyze inventory levels, sales trends, and market demands to optimize inventory management and minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing supply chain team, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure their professional growth and success.
  • Collaborate with warehouse operations to optimize storage capacity, streamline processes, and ensure accurate inventory tracking and management.
  • Develop and implement robust forecasting models and tools to anticipate demand fluctuations, mitigate risks, and support accurate production planning.
  • Monitor and analyze supply chain performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and customer satisfaction.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in supply chain management, specifically within the consumer electronics industry.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes, order fulfillment, warehouse operations, and forecasting methodologies.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team towards achieving goals and objectives.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in using MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and other relevant software applications.
