About Our Client
Our client specialises in consumer goods and they are looking for a senior logistic calibre to join their company.
You will be responsible for the entire logistic flow and distribution from the manufacturing sites to the customers. You will review the logistics policies and strive for the best practice. You will work closely with the production team on planning issues. You will design and implement operation excellence projects. You will be continuously managing the entire supply chain process and maintain cost performance measure. By constantly reviewing the policies and procedures, you will have to make sure our services are performing company standards and meeting customers' expectations. You will have to work on the various supply chain units, including logistics, planning, distributions, inventory, etc. All logistics operations will be under your management. You will interact with suppliers and internal supply chain team to drive for a more efficient process. Closely monitor the import and export global routes and propose improvement plans where necessary.
The Successful Applicant
To qualify, you will have at least 10 years of experience working in a MNC setting and preferably in the High Technology/ FMCG Industry. Experience in manufacturing productions, operations, supply chain logistics and warehouse management is required. You will have to be familiar with import and export compliance/ regulations as well as product classifications. Exceptional communication skills are necessary for the interactions between team members and business partners. Fluent in English.
