Job Description

  • Conduct comprehensive reviews of customs laws, trade agreements, and regulatory changes to identify potential impacts and proactively adapt our processes
  • Author detailed reports on trade regulation updates, highlighting key changes and their implications for our organization
  • Manage the classification, valuation, and documentation of our products and services for import and export activities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries related to trade compliance, providing timely and accurate guidance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including supply chain, logistics, and legal, to identify and address trade compliance risks
  • Develop and deliver training programs to educate customers on trade compliance best practices
  • Stay abreast of industry developments, regulatory updates, and emerging trade compliance issues to ensure our organization remains at the forefront of compliance

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in International Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • Thorough understanding of customs laws, trade regulations, and international trade agreements, with the ability to interpret and apply complex requirements
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills to identify and mitigate trade compliance risks
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders
  • Proficient in using trade compliance software, databases, and data analysis tools
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
