Our client is a leading player in the industrial sector, committed to innovation, operational excellence, and sustainable growth. They are seeking a skilled Strategic Sourcing Manager to join their team and drive value in sourcing materials.

Job Description

  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies for different materials, including equipment, machinery, and construction-related supplies.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities in the CAPEX supply chain.
  • Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to achieve cost savings and favourable conditions.
  • Collaborate with engineering, project management, and finance teams to align sourcing with project timelines and budgets.
  • Evaluate supplier performance and ensure compliance with quality, safety, and sustainability standards.
  • Manage risk mitigation strategies and maintain a robust supplier network.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in strategic sourcing or procurement, with a focus on CAPEX materials in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Proven track record of negotiating complex contracts and delivering cost savings.
  • Strong analytical skills and familiarity with market research tools.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Knowledge of industrial equipment and materials is a plus.
