Our client is a key player in Building and Construction industry, a world leading Machinery/Lift/Elevator company with clients over 180 countries and territories globally.

Job Description

Under the direction of the Director, Service, the Senior Manager, Service Field Operations, is in-charge of the Service Support team to provide assistance and support to all service branches with 6 direct Managers reporting to him/her and total up to team of 100 pax.

  1. Ensures that company and local policies are uniformly understood and properly interpreted and administrated by subordinates.
  2. Establishes and monitors qualitative and quantitative standards for field service teams.
  3. In charge of Service EH&S and safety test team, organizes EH&S programs and drive to improve safety cultures.
  4. Collects, analyzes and reports on service operating results including labor hours, callback rate, service orders, manpower and so forth and ensures actions are taken to rectify any unfavorable variance.
  5. Ensures all service activities to comply with all ISO accreditations standards and drive annual ISO certification.
  6. Carries out quality audits and improvement initiatives in accordance with the company's quality policies.
  7. Manages and runs the field training programs, maintains proper training records and related information and documentation.
  8. Leading call center and warehouse to provide daily services to customers and field service teams.
  9. Supporting project teams on tendering and driving down project costs.
  10. Ensures that subordinates are properly trained and motivated to attain business objectives.
  11. Carries out appraisals for subordinates and develops plans for the career development of potential staff.
  12. Creates and fosters of a culture of ethics and speak up, instill an awareness of and commitment to the Code of Ethics. Perform responsibilities in compliance with the Code.

The Successful Applicant

  1. Bachelor's Degree in engineering discipline or business discipline. (Master Degree in relevant discipline is an advantage.)
  2. HK Registered Lift and Escalator Engineer would be an asset.
  3. Over 10-years' Lift/Elevator/Machinery/Building Automation industries' experience covering Installation, Field Service and After Sales activities with at least 5 years in the managerial position.
  4. Excellent spoken / written communication skills and ability to deal with and influence people at all levels is required.
  5. P&L experience with solid MS excel and presentation skill is preferred.
