It is expected this role will do technical system management, people management, and at times hands on development.Job DescriptionLead and manage a team of technologists and engineers, vendors to perform requirement analysis, system analysis, design, development, quality assurance activities and implementation of enhancements/projects assigned within schedules in good qualityManage vendors to build, integrate and deliver high-quality business solutionsDesigns and develops IT solutions including integrated process, applications, data and technology in alignment with the enterprise architecture direction and standardEnsure system design and system integration for end-to-end IT solutions across different platforms based on business requirements and IT strategiesLiaise with internal users and external vendors for project & production systems support activitiesEnsure auditory and regulatory compliancePromote team sharing and continuous learning cultureManage staff, which includes performance reviews and career planningLead team to adhere Agile methodology and DevOps processDrive engineering best practices and technical excellenceDrive delivery velocity and cost efficiencyShare knowledge, build central knowledge repository and continuous learningThe Successful ApplicantUniversity degree in software engineering, information technology or computer scienceMinimum 6 years relevant experience with 3 years relevant experience in team leadership roleStrong in Agile / SDLC delivery methodologyStrong people management, resource management and vendor management skillsProfessional in both architecture design and implementation-level software designExpertise in Database design/administration, ie. Oracle DB, MS SQL, Azure SQL Server ServiceBroad exposure to wide range of technologies & programming language, eg.
