Job Description

Director, Advanced Manufacturing Tech SolutionsResponsibilities

  • Build strategic partnerships with manufacturing clients; understand challenges and modernisation goals.
  • Translate customer needs into solutions that improve productivity, quality, safety, and agility.
  • Lead end-to-end design of IIoT, MES/MOM, predictive maintenance, digital twins, connected worker, analytic, and autonomous operations.
  • Define architectures, integration models, and deployment patterns aligned with industry best practices.
  • Partner with sales/business teams to develop proposals, value frameworks, solution descriptions, and delivery plans.
  • Present strategies to executives, linking technology to measurable business outcomes.
  • Act as senior technical authority across iteration, PoCs, deployment, scaling, and optimisation.
  • Mentor architects and technical teams.
  • Evaluate emerging Industry 4.0/5.0 technologies (AI, robotics, edge, sustainability analytic).
  • Guide clients in adoption, expansion, and evolution of smart manufacturing capabilities.
  • Ensure compliance with ISA-95/ISA-88, cybersecurity, and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, delivery, engineering, product, and partners.
  • Contribute to advanced offerings and portfolio road maps.



The Successful Applicant

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT (Master's preferred).
  • 10+ years in solution architecture/design for manufacturing clients or working in a manufacturing company technical team
  • Expertise in MES/MOM, IIoT, edge computing, automation, robotics, AI/ML, digital twins, cyber-physical systems.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud, data, IoT/IIoT, integration patterns, and modern factory ecosystems.
  • Excellent communication and executive storytelling skills.
  • Strategic thinker with analytical and problem-solving ability.
  • Experience with agile methodologies and cross-functional leadership.
  • Ability to manage multiple engagements in fast-paced environments.
