Our client is a top international financial institution. They are currently looking for a Settlement Operations Analyst to join the back office team to perform settlement, reconciliations, trade confirmations and operation duties for FX and bonds products within APAC markets. The candidate should have 1-3 years of working experience in settlement, reconciliations or operations with strong product knowledge in FX/bonds within international bank.

About Our Client

Our client is top international financial institution and they are now opening up a Settlement Operations Analyst to join the back office team to perform settlement, reconciliations, trade confirmations and operation duties for FX and bonds products within APAC markets, working closely with Basel office and front office team. Established in 1930, the bank supports 63 central banks' pursuit of monetary and financial stability through international cooperation, and to act as a bank for central banks.

Job Description

  • Responsible for FX and bonds settlement and reconciliations, breaks investigation, failure processing and compensation requests within APAC markets
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of confirmations, settlements and payments and ensure accurate processing, confirmation and matching of transactions
  • Create, check and maintain bond definitions in the trading systems, maintaining accuracy and timeliness of to meet expected standards and timelines
  • Work to strict processes and protocols, ensuring conformity with best market practices and the rules set by Compliance and Internal Audit
  • Raise and escalate any issues with processes and systems to the appropriate colleague, aiding in system improvements/re-engineering

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Finance or business management related discipline
  • 1-3 years of working experience in settlement, reconciliations or operations with strong product knowledge in FX/bonds within international bank
  • Strong product knowledge in FX and bonds
  • Proficiency in SWIFT messaging formats
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Chinese
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills and a great team player
