About Our Client
Our client is one of a market dominant in the entertainment industries. We are looking for a Test Engineer to responsible for quality assurance activities for core and Web applications and change requests in Manual testing;
Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Create of test scenarios, testing plans, scripts, processes, tools with reference to functional and user specifications/ user stories;
- Execution of UAT test cases, log, manage and close system defects;
- Defect management and resolutions;
- Analyze the upcoming deliveries of project, changes and defects and maintain the test environment planning and highlight any issues or risk associated with it;
- Support BAU team with production defects and impact of those defects;
- Document test results and ensure that they are store on the respective repositories;
- Liaise with business teams, walkthrough UAT test plans and provide regular update on the overall testing, defects and the delivery status;
- Support business users during the testing phase by providing training on new features and functions delivered from the project or change request.
The Successful Applicant
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
- Actual testing background of 2 years or more with (preferably) testing in Manual test environment;
- At least 2 year of experience in (mid-stage of system integration);
- Proficient in at least one of the scripting languages: Python/ Perl/ Java/ PHP/ Node.js etc
- Experience with web application/ system-based testing.
- Ability to effectively engage with stakeholders;
- High attention to detail;
