About Our Client

Our client is an international financial services firm with a strong footprint in Asia and North America. They are now looking to re-grow their presence in Hong Kong. They aim to grow their client reach across Asia. They already have a strong existing network, however they aim to provide their services to more financial institutions in the region.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Identify areas to grow revenue with financial institutions in Hong Kong
  • Create and maintain relationships with the relevant stakeholders to ensure long term business
  • Understand all client requirements and match that with the products and services which are on offer
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends and the latest technology in the financial markets to allow clients access to relevant information
  • Provide detailed updates and analysis to your clients' activities and identify how the company can move forward to service those clients better
  • Stay in tune with the competition in the market and how you can exceed the services provided by other players in the market

The Successful Applicant

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in finance, banking, communications or a related discipline
  • Minimum of 8 years of direct selling to financial institutions at a senior level
  • A an independent working attitude (the company is re-entering the Hong Kong market, so initially there will be no other staff. The role is likely to start out of a co-working space) with no local supervision. All support will come from offices across Asia
  • An existing network of relevant stakeholders in financial institutions is vital to success in this role
  • Fluency in English is mandatory for the position. Language skills in Cantonese and Mandarin will highly advantageous
  • A strong motivation to grow revenue and gain sales commission will be a key element to success in this role

What's on Offer

This position does have very little supervision, the candidate will have the freedom to create their own schedule and work at their pace to achieve the set targets.
