About Our Client

Our client is a well-known bank in Hong Kong.

The successful candidate is is responsible for supporting the complex enterprise-wide type stress testing processes in the Bank group, bringing together the skills and capabilities from across the Bank, especially from Finance and Risk areas.

Job Description

Work closely with both Finance and Risk areas to ensure the Bank meets its defined stress testing standards (regulatory and internal).
Work closely with HSBC Group Regional Central Stress Testing team to implement and manage governance framework, execution, and driving end-to-end delivery of enterprise wide stress tests, by building and tracking an integrated and practical plan for the country.
Participate in local regulatory interaction for all matters relating to stress testing.
Manage communications with the executive leadership, providing recommendations and executing on recommendations
Review EC demand assessment for different risk types to comply with the Group and the regulatory requirements in relation to Pillar 2 capital assessment under ICAAP

The Successful Applicant

Bachelor degree in Economic or Finance related displines
Proven skills and the ability to exercise leadership without authority.
Proven experience of discussing complex analytical subjects with non-technical internal and external counterparts.
Advanced understanding of the Bank's financial statements, business performance, strategy, and key metrics particularly capital and risk-weighted assets.
Strong knowledge of the external environment - regulatory, competition, economics, etc.
Fluent in both English and Chinese
