About Our Client
A US consumer products company with sales channel in all big retails in the US, Europe and Asia. Currently, the majority if the company's business came from the US. They are ambitiously expanding their market presence in Asia.
As the Product Manager/Senior Product Manager within this US MNC, the person will be in support the company's global marketing and product strategy through activities such as market analysis and sourcing. Day-to-day responsibilities will include product development, supplier management, logistical arrangements, and evaluation of vendor performance/matrix. He/she will also supervise product specialists, quality and supply chain professionals. Ideally with experiences in sourcing, the Product Manager/Senior Product Manager will find new vendors from the Asia-Pacific region.
The Successful Applicant
A minimum of 8 years' experience in Product Management is required, with experiences from a buying office preferred. Experiences supporting North America and European retailers in product sourcing from Asia is preferred. In addition, knowledge in manufacturing, fluency in English and Mandarin, as well as good leadership & communications skills are important. The qualified candidate is expected to have obtained a bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related field.
