Our client is a Global Financial Institution with an excellent reputation. As part of their plans to expand in APAC, they are currently looking for a Network Engineer to join their team.

Job Description

  • Escalation point for offshore Network Operations Center personnel
  • Maintain device software versions according to standards and policies
  • Develop templates for standard configurations and maintain device configurations according to these templates
  • Implementing new features and practices as developed by Engineering
  • Formulating a roll out strategy for new features/platforms as determined by team's strategy
  • Manage multiple network projects and infrastructure across multiple platforms; networks, public cloud and/or applied security technologies

The Successful Applicant

  • A thorough understanding of TCP/IP, RIP, OSPF, BGP, NAT, Access-Lists, route redistribution, 802.1x, Spanning-Tree, H.323, SIP, VOIP, QoS, DNS, DHCP, IP address management
  • Understanding of WAN optimization, preferably Cisco WAAS
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP and networking concepts. CCNA or higher very beneficial
  • Pro-active and keen to investigate and find the root cause of issues
  • Fluency in English & Mandarin proficiency is helpful
  • Independent and self-starter. Expected to proactively improve and innovate existing infrastructure
