Our client is a listed food manufacturing company with a prominent presence globally is now looking for a Senior Merchandising & Marketing Manager (Department Head) to join the team in Hong Kong.

Job Description

  • Oversee a range of snacks, confectionery, and ice-cream brands by identifying new products and maintaining inventory control.
  • Coordinate with vendors and business partners regarding product sourcing and trade terms.
  • Lead a sizable team to manage product assortment, pricing, production capacity, shipment schedule and promotions to optimize sales, ensuring good supply chain and product management.
  • Drive the development and execution of advertising and marketing communications initiatives.
  • Manage the marketing budget and liaise with internal and external partners to ensure timely and smooth execution of marketing programs.
  • Conduct marketing intelligence study to understand customers' needs and develop strategic branding and marketing communication strategy to enlarge loyal member base, drive customer acquisition, sales conversion, and engagement.
  • Analyze the effectiveness of campaigns and promotions and provide insights/recommendations for performance improvement and enhancement.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams and suppliers to deliver marketing initiatives and achieve business targets.

The Successful Applicant

The company is looking for a talent who is a degree holder and has at least 12-15 years of merchandising and marketing experience, preferably in FMCG or retail industry.

China experience is an advantage.

Strong business analytics, relationship management and leadership skills.

Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese. Mandarin is a plus.
