Job Description

  • Product Development: Drive mechanical design and engineering for new domestic appliance products.
  • CAD Design: Create and review detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo).
  • Prototype Development: Oversee prototyping, testing, and validation of mechanical components and assemblies.
  • NPI (New Product Introduction): Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure smooth transition from design to mass production.
  • DFMEA & Risk Analysis: Conduct design reviews, risk assessments, and implement design improvements.
  • Supplier Collaboration: Work closely with suppliers and manufacturing partners to ensure design feasibility and quality standards.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in home appliances or consumer electronics.
  • Strong proficiency in CAD tools and engineering documentation.
  • Hands-on experience with prototyping, testing, and DFM/DFA principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and project management abilities
