About Our Client
Our client is a well-known academic institution with strong focus & support on academic communities, while collecting and preserving a large database of influential publications in all aspects.
The Senior Manager will play a key role in public affairs teams to take care of the media and stakeholder engagement and communication strategies for the University.
He/she will organise media relations and other engagement activities including, press conferences, media briefings, interviews, and roundtables with key influencers and opinion leaders.
He/she will manage brand reputation through proactively identifying the potential issues. He/she will play a key role in resolving issues and crises.
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate should come with at least 10 years of solid writing and leading experience in corporate communications and public affairs, with background in communication/journalism being an advantage.
The Senior Manager should be equipped with strong interpersonal and communication skills to build up relationship with various internal business functions and stakeholders.
The candidate should have a recognised degree in a field related to communication or education. Excellent command of English speaking and writing skills are required, with strong proficiency in Chinese and fluency in Putonghua being an advantage.
