About Our Client

Our client is a world's leading global luxury lifestyle and hospitality management group. They are now looking for a Senior Manager, Corporate Communications to increase their public affairs and corporate communication capacity. The Senior Manager will help securing media coverage, uplift the group's global branding position, and support internal & external communications in midst of this uncertain times.

Job Description

The key account abilities of the position are the hotel group's corporate brand and the Group CEO's public image as a Key Opinion Leader/Influencer through organisation speaking engagements, media interviews, thought leadership contents, etc. Management of social media channel (with external and internal support) will also be part of the function.

To effectively carry out responsibilities in this role, the Senior Manager will keep a close eye on business and regulatory trends in the hotel industry and work closely with the Senior Management team (mainly the Group CEO) to devise corporate branding strategy within the luxury lifestyle and hospitality arena.

The Senior Manager will leverage his/her excellent communications (written communication is very important) and stakeholder management skills to maintain and uplift the global branding profile for the group. Key stakeholders will include members of the executive board, hotel owners, media outlets, local and overseas government bodies (i.e., travel boards), internal marketing & communications teams, as well as hotel VIPs. Due to the frequent changes and uncertainty in the world of travels & hospitalisty, the Senior Manager will take the lead in crisis communications towards internal and external stakeholders.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate should come with at least 10 years related experience in field of corporate communications or public relations, with demonstrated experience in handling executive level (CEO-level) communications. Experiences in global or regional hospitality and luxury retail are required.

This position requires excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Mandarin Chinese. Conversational Cantonese is helpful but not a must. Degree level qualification in communication, language, or other related disciplines is preferred.
