Job Description

This role involves developing and implementing content marketing strategies to distribute engaging content across the companies' major social media platforms, including Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok. A key focus is exploring innovative creative strategies tailored to specific target sectors, particularly aspiring young travelers and emerging middle class in different parts of the world.The position requires ideating, creating, and producing high-quality digital content-including photography, video, art direction, and copy-while managing a high-performing team of writers, designers, and videographers to deliver creative outputs across multiple areas like graphic design, video, and photography. Responsibilities also include leading social media postings and calendars, staying updated on industry and social trends, and ensuring content is optimized and aligned with best practices.The role oversees the creative production process, managing resources, timelines, and budgets in collaboration with content agencies or in-house production teams. Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), analyzing engagement metrics, and transforming data into actionable insights are crucial, along with identifying and addressing underperforming content or social channels. Additionally, the role requires collaborating with content partners, stakeholders, and third parties to produce high-quality, impactful content that supports the organization's business goals.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate should hold a university degree in Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, with at least 10 years of experience in a creative role such as advertising, digital agency work, content creation, publishing, or similar industries. In-house experience and a proven track record of leading and managing creative teams, including videographers, graphic designers, and copywriters, are highly advantageous. The candidate must be a strong storyteller, capable of distilling complex ideas into clear and relatable narratives, with a solid understanding of best practices across social platforms, emerging technologies, and industry trends in video production and storytelling. Strong organizational skills, a problem-solving mindset, and excellent communication abilities are essential, along with fluency in written English and Chinese.
