About Our Client

My client is an international renowned brand name in the market with a strong reputation of the quality of products and tight company culture. With upcoming expansions in the market, they're seeking for a high potential Senior Manager or Assistant Financial Controller to join their finance team here in Hong Kong to look after Asia.

Job Description

  • Lead the accounting team across Asia including financial accounting and reconciliations, internal and external reporting, inter-company, accounts payable and fixed asset
  • Take responsibility on the accuracy and timely preparation of the financial statements according to the regulatory and organisational requirements, and work with external auditors to ensure a smooth review process
  • Pro actively ensure stakeholders are promptly aware of the financial performance updates and potential risks where necessary
  • Handle the consolidation process for Asia and share insights regarding the company performance
  • Review and ensure strong internal processes are in place to safeguard company assets
  • Part of the project team in driving process and system implementation and enhancement
  • Act as a creditable finance business partner in the region

The Successful Applicant

  • Degree in Accountancy, Finance or a related discipline
  • Professional Qualifications (i.e, HKICPA, CPAA etc)
  • At least 15 years of total relevant working experience in a MNC setting
  • Prior exposure in the retail or consumer products sector is a must
  • Collaborative with strong communication skills and ability to work across levels within the organisation
  • Able to influence, develop and motivate team and drive change
  • Adaptable to handle multiple priorities and tight time demands in a dynamic environment
  • Language ability in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
