This role, available at the Senior Officer or Assistant Manager level, offers a unique opportunity to manage the full spectrum of Compensation & Benefits (C&B) operations within a prominent group known for its innovative approach and employee-centric policies.

Job Description

  • Oversee the full cycle of payroll processing, ensuring accurate and timely salary calculations, deductions, and disbursements for 600-700 employees.
  • Collaborate with finance department to resolve discrepancies and ensure smooth payroll operations.
  • Manage employee allowances in compliance with company policies, administer MPF contributions including enrollment and reporting, and handle medical insurance plans, coordinating with providers and processing claims.
  • Administer employee benefits, including medical insurance renewals, retirement plans, and other perks, ensuring seamless delivery and employee satisfaction.
  • Maintain and update the HRIS to ensure data integrity and system efficiency, and participate in HRIS enhancement and revamp projects to improve operational workflows.
  • Collaborate with the C&B team on annual salary reviews, compensation benchmarking, and market analysis to maintain competitive pay structures.
  • Conduct compensation analytics to provide insights on salary trends, cost impacts, and budget alignment, presenting findings to HR leadership.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3-7 years of progressive experience in Compensation & Benefits, with a focus on payroll management and C&B operations; candidates with 3-5 years may be considered for Senior Officer, while those with 5-7 years may be suitable for Assistant Manager.
  • Demonstrated experience managing payroll for a medium to large workforce (500+ employees), ideally with exposure to organizations of similar size to the client's 600-700 headcount.
  • In-depth knowledge of Hong Kong employment legislation, taxation, and MPF requirements, ensuring compliance with local labor laws.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and payroll systems; experience with system maintenance, upgrades, or revamp projects is highly advantageous.
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail, essential for handling complex data and generating meaningful insights for annual reviews and compensation analyses.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with various stakeholders, including internal teams and external vendors.
