China is the biggest market under this position's responsibility with well over 1,600 headcount across multiple cities in China.Job DescriptionReporting to the APAC Head of HR, you will manage the local HR teams across multiple offices in China, HK, Macau, Japan and Korea, where they are supported by the HR Shared Services and COE teams based in China. You will ensure that the local teams will stay close to the business and provide HR advisory around manpower planning , budget management, recruitment, on & off boarding, annual exercises and talent management. You will work partner with regional counterparts to drive people strategies such as retention, employee engagement, diversity & inclusion to address the company's needs.The Successful ApplicantTo qualify, you will have a minimum of 15 years of HR generalist experience gained from multinational organizations , solid exposure to the China market and some APAC regional experience is required. A thorough understanding of the HR practices for Hong Kong and China will be required. A hands on working style with a strong business and customer oriented approach , and the ability to communicate effectively with staff at all levels are keys to success in this position. A good level of English and Mandarin communication skills is essential. Candidates with experience working in China will be highly sought after.
