Job Description

As a Senior Fund Accountant, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and reviewing financial statements and reports for assigned funds.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and accounting standards.
  • Managing daily fund operations, including reconciliations and NAV calculations.
  • Handling client communications and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
  • Supporting the audit process by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure accurate and efficient processes.
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing solutions.
  • Training and mentoring junior team members as needed.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Fund Accountant should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in fund accounting and financial reporting.
  • Strong understanding of accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience with accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
