Our client is one of the largest private banks in Switzerland that serves private banking clients and family offices globally. They are looking for a Senior Financial Accountant to handle head office/ financial reporting, financial accounting, general ledger, month end closing. The candidate should have 8-10 years of working experience in head office/ financial reporting, financial accounting with strong knowledge in T24 / SAP within banking industry.

About Our Client

Our client is a global private bank based in Switzerland and they are now seeking for a Senior Financial Accountant to join the Head Accounting & Regulatory Reporting team to handle head office reporting, financial reporting, financial accounting and controls, general ledger, month end closing and finance related projects. The global private bank has more than 50 locations globally and serves private clients and family offices worldwide for more than 125 years.

Job Description

  • Responsible for head office reporting, financial reporting and liaise with Head Office for submissions
  • Prepare and ensure all the accounting entries are posted for month-end closing, document workflow and procedure manual
  • Handle financial accounting and controls, daily general ledger checks, resolution of issues, internal accounts review and maintenance
  • Prepare intercompany invoicing, settlements, entries and reconciliation
  • Perform UAT of Finance projects relating to Accounting and Financial reporting
  • Assist in ad hoc tracking of details status of Finance Projects

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree with major in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or relevant discipline
  • 8-10+ years of working experience in head office reporting, financial reporting, financial accounting, month end closing, finance related projects within banking industry
  • Qualifications in Certified Public Accountant or Equivalent
  • Strong system knowledge in T24 / SAP
  • Immediately Available candidates preferred
  • Good understanding of IFRS Reporting requirements and experience
  • Highly proficient in MS Office applications, such as MS Excel and Access
  • Highly proficient in English and Chinese
