About Our Client

Join our client dynamic Finance Office team in Education Institution as a Senior Finance Manager (System Support) . In this pivotal role, you will lead part of the Finance Team overseeing system enhancement, implementation, and data analysis. This position is integral to our senior management team and involves managing a team of around 10 professionals and support staff.

Job Description

  • Supervise the administration of over 10+ finance-related systems and address associated technical issues.
  • Drive operational process reviews to enhance efficiency, encourage automation and innovation, perform requirement analyses, IT product assessments, systems design, and testing for application system developments.
  • Coordinate and execute IT implementation plans for new developments and enhancements of finance-related systems.
  • Manage system development and enhancement projects, acting as the project manager.
  • Develop and refine guidelines and procedures related to quality assurance, risk management, compliance, and business continuity.
  • Initiate data analysis and reporting, creating financial dashboards to support management decision-making.
  • Prepare and conduct training sessions and briefings on systems, related guidelines, and procedures.

The Successful Applicant

  • Hold a recognised degree in accounting, information technology, or a related field.
  • Possess substantial managerial experience, typically exceeding eight years, in IT system implementation for accounting, finance, procurement, payments, staff claims, or other relevant business domains. Proficiency in ERP system implementation (e.g., Oracle Financial, SAP) and OLAP is advantageous.
  • Project management certification is a bonus
  • Demonstrate advanced proficiency in PC and mobile applications, accounting software, and expertise in system design, programming, and system architecture.
  • Exhibit self-motivation, high ethical standards, responsibility, and a collaborative spirit.
