The ideal candidate will have a strong background in asset management area, particularly in USD-denominated public mutual funds, and a proven track record of managing institutional client relationships across Mainland China and Hong Kong.

Job Description

As a Senior Business Development Manager, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with institutional clients, including banks, insurance companies, family offices, and other financial institutions.
  • Drive sales and distribution of the firm's mutual fund products, with a focus on USD-denominated bond funds.
  • Identify new business opportunities and execute strategic sales plans to grow AUM.
  • Collaborate with product, investment, and marketing teams to deliver tailored solutions to clients.
  • Represent the firm at industry events, roadshows, and client meetings across Hong Kong and Mainland China.
  • Provide market insights and client feedback to internal stakeholders to support product development and strategy.



The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Business Development Manager should have:

  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in asset management, mutual fund sales, or institutional business development.
  • Native Mandarin speaker with excellent communication skills in English and Cantonese.
  • Deep understanding of asset management products and industry trends, especially in USD bond mutual funds.
  • Strong institutional client network and proven ability to raise assets.
  • Willingness to travel frequently between Hong Kong and Mainland China.
  • Bachelor's degree or above from a top-tier university:
    • Mainland China: 985 Project universities
    • Overseas: QS Top 100 universities
