About Our Client

Our client is a large scale conglomerate with business across APAC. They are now hiring a Senior Analyst/ Assistant Lead, Data Management and Analytics to sit at Project team at HQ. The person would work under Data Analytics team to develop dashboard and drive data transformation/ BI projects across multiple subsidiaries in APAC.

Job Description

  • Sit at HQ. Be consultative to serve across subsidaries. As "Internal Consultant" to work with multiple teams on data analytics solutions (mainly retail and customer), discover patterns, perform segementation and provide insight
  • Build dashboard from scratch (Tableau, Power BI) to provide actionable insights and guidance
  • Optimize and standardize operational processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
  • Bridge with data engineers and scientists in supporting data model and ETL pipelines
  • Drive data transformation/ business intelligence projects for subsidaries acros APAC independently

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor in Statistics, Computer Science or related disciplines
  • 5+ years experience in Data Management and Analytics
  • Hands on with SQL; Python is a plus
  • Knowledgeable with data warehousing and management; Prior experience in ETL process is preferred; Experience with Snowflake is a plus
  • Strong in retail/ customer analytics. Create dynamic and reusable segmentation models to target customers effectively
  • Strong commercial sense and communication skills. Customer-centric mindset with consultative approach
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-team collaboration
  • Consultancy experience is a plus
  • Hands on with building (Tableau and Power BI) dashboards from scratch to visualize customer behavior, business/ campaign performance and trends
  • Optimize workflows with sound track record in successfully drive data transformation projects independently
  • Good command in English and Chinese
