Job Description

  • Preparing and reviewing financial statements, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards.
  • Managing general ledger accounts and performing month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Overseeing budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis for property portfolios.
  • Coordinating with internal and external auditors for annual audits and financial reviews.
  • Handling tax filings and ensuring compliance with local regulations in the property industry.
  • Collaborating with property managers and other departments to provide financial insights and reports.
  • Implementing process improvements to enhance the efficiency of accounting operations.
  • Supporting ad-hoc financial projects and management reporting as needed.

The Successful Applicant

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional accounting qualifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA) are highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices relevant to the property industry.
  • Proficiency in financial reporting and analysis tools.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in speaking Cantonese and English.
