We are seeking a diligent and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Hong Kong. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can effectively manage a wide range of accounting and financial tasks.

Job Description

As a Senior Accountant, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing financial statements and reports in compliance with accounting standards.
  • Performing thorough financial analysis and providing insightful recommendations.
  • Ensuring compliance with all internal controls, policies, and procedures.
  • Assisting with budget preparation and financial planning processes.
  • Managing tax filings and inventory accounting.
  • Acting as a liaison for auditors to ensure annual monitoring is carried out.
  • Updating and improving financial processes and systems.
  • Contributing to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Accountant should have:

  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Private Equity Experience is a must
  • Professional Accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent).
  • Strong knowledge of accounting and financial processes (budgeting, financial closure, reporting, etc.)
  • Proficiency in MS Office (especially MS Excel) and accounting software.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
