About Our Client

Our client is a one of the top international schools in Hong Kong with around 1500 students and 200 staffs in their Institution. They are now seeking for an Accountant to join their team as they are having expansion in their campus in the coming years.

Job Description

  • Responsible for month-end, and year-end processing by reviewing balance sheet, revenue and expenditure accounts; preparing and reviewing journal entries
  • Prepare management reports including but not limited to fixed deposit analysis, balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement, donations, scholarships, and capital expenditures
  • Prepare financial analysis including income and expenses analysis, data analysis
  • Prepare forecast and variance analysis against forecast
  • Prepare working papers and required schedules for external and internal audit
  • Assist in investigating inefficiencies and recommend efficient methodology; recommends to management for accounting policies updates
  • Supervise accounting team
  • Lead the annual budget preparation exercise, prepare budget variance analysis, and facilitate daily budget control.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor degree holder in accounting
  • At least 6 years working experience in accounting
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Proficiency in using MS excel and word, and having experience in the SAP Business One accounting system is an advantage
