Job Description

As a Scrum Master, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Facilitating daily Scrum meetings, sprint planning, and retrospectives to ensure team alignment and productivity.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and remove impediments affecting project delivery.
  • Coaching team members on Agile principles and practices to foster continuous improvement.
  • Monitoring project progress and ensuring deliverables align with business objectives within the insurance industry.
  • Maintaining transparency by tracking and reporting key performance metrics to stakeholders.
  • Encouraging collaboration between product owners, developers, and other team members in the technology department.
  • Ensuring adherence to Agile frameworks and promoting a culture of accountability and ownership.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Scrum Master should have:

  • Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks and Scrum methodologies.
  • Proven ability to facilitate and lead diverse teams effectively.
  • Exceptional communication and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Experience working in the technology department or with IT teams.
  • Familiarity with the insurance industry and its operational processes.
  • Proficiency in using Agile tools such as JIRA or Trello.
