Sales & Merchandising Manager - Footwear
About Our Client
Our client is an international company with multiple famous brands in sports and lifestyle footwear. They are looking for a strong wholesale professional with sales, merchandising and product management experience for this role. You will be the product leader of these renowned brands for Asia Pacific.
This role will be the product leader, managing the wholesale business for the Asia Pacific region. You will be responsible for the product and sales performance of the different brands and will be responsible for expanding and growing the business. Your role will be responsible to formulate merchandising strategy for each APAC distribution markets. This is a senior position where you will be presenting to high level partners, clients and senior executives. This is a hands-on role for entrepreneurial candidates. You must be able to build a strong rapport, highly influence and maintain strong relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders. This role will have a travel component.
The Successful Applicant
The Successful Candidate must have at least 8-10 years of experience within a sales, product management or merchandising role working with footwear. Candidates without footwear experience will not be considered. You will need to have a minimum of 3-4 years of experience in managing APAC markets and working with distributors. You will be working closely with with senior executives and partners and must have previous track record in doing so. You will need to have strong analysis, negotiation, leadership, communication and interpersonal skills. This candidate must have outstanding excel skills. Candidates need to have a strong command of English.
