About Our Client

Our client is a manufacturer of premium products and a proud licensee of several leading global brands. They are looking for a Sales leader to drive growth and achieve success across the APAC region/ local markets.

Job Description

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to maximize licensing opportunities for bags and luggage in APAC markets, with a focus on key markets such as Singapore, Malaysia, and Southeast Asia.
  • Prioritize partnerships with larger key accounts and distributors to ensure sustainable growth.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with existing clients while seeking new partnerships to expand market reach.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing sales team, aligning their goals with business objectives.
  • Monitor market trends, analyze opportunities, and contribute insights to product development and marketing strategies.
  • Stay ahead of competitor activities to seize growth opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Collaborate closely with brand and product development teams to ensure market alignment.
  • Travel regionally to meet clients, attend trade shows, and explore business opportunities firsthand.
  • Prepare and deliver comprehensive sales reports, forecasts.
  • Flexible work location, with Singapore being an advantageous base.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Proven track record of successful sales management in the bags, luggage, footwear, or apparel industry, with expertise in Southeast Asia markets.
  • Strong network and established relationships within the bags and luggage sector across Southeast Asia.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive and results-oriented mindset.
  • Willingness to travel within the APAC region.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in other Asian languages is a strong advantage.
