The Sales Director will mainly be responsible for selling company's solutions and technologies to Hong Kong carriers. This person will have overall responsibility for the strategy, objectives and sales plans for the region. The responsibilities include meeting and exceeding sales targets, overseeing the "customer lifecycle" to ensure a best-in-class approach to the customer experience, working with Product Line Management to define product and market requirements and solution design. You would need to understand customer's needs, establish strong relationship with them, and successfully provide them the products that fit them. This person must be experienced in networking and transmission technology sales to carriers by understanding customers thoroughly.
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate for this role would have 10-15 years of telecommunication wholesale experience. Both direct and indirect (Channels) sales experiences are required. Experience in selling transformation products such as Optical DWDM technologies is a huge advantage. This person needs to have experience in selling to carriers in Hong Kong or have very good relationship with carriers in the region.
