About Our Client

Our Client, an iconic FMCG brand is hiring a new headcount of Sales Director to lead and manage the food service and wholesale sales division. This role requires deep industry knowledge, strong leadership, and a proven track record in B2B food sales.

Job Description

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to expand market share in food service and wholesale channels.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including food service channels, QSR, distributors, and hospitality groups.
  • Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform strategic decisions.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the sales team to achieve individual and team targets.
  • Set KPIs, monitor performance, and conduct regular reviews.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and industry stakeholders.
  • Oversee on boarding of high-value clients and ensure a best-in-class customer experience.
  • Develop retention and up selling strategies to maximise customer lifetime value.
  • Partner with finance, operations, and marketing teams to align goals and ensure smooth execution.
  • Manage pricing strategies, contract negotiations, and sales forecasting.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 8+ years of experience in food service or wholesale sales, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of food distribution, institutional sales, and B2B client management.
  • Candidate with frozen food trading business experience is value added.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytic skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
