About Our Client

My client is looking for a passionate retail director that can take ownership of the entire retail business with attention to detail.

Job Description

  • Be the boss of the retail team to achieve performance metrics and brand objectives set by the group.
  • Leads store managers and teams to effectively manage the day-to-day operations of the store to achieve operational and sales objectives set by the company
  • Oversee inventory management including receiving, delivery and transfer of merchandise as well as stock control and cycle count accuracy.
  • Responsible for setting up a review system and framework monitoring front-line staff to identify performance gaps and identify coaching and training needs to enhance staff performance
  • Collaborate with the VM team to ensure all sales campaigns are carried out in accordance with brand guidelines and secure a high standard of visual merchandising to optimise store layouts to drive selling.
  • Explore new ideas with the marketing team on promotion and engagement events to drive sales and enhance customer engagement.

The Successful Applicant

  • Education in related disciplines.
  • At least 10 - 14 years of relevant experience in retail management
  • Strong business acumen and analytic mindset.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
