About Our Client

Our client, a prestigious and globally recognized wine company, is seeking an experienced and results-driven Regional Sales Manager to strengthen its presence across Asia region, with a particular focus on the South East Asia, especially Thai market. This role is ideal for a candidate with a proven track record in managing wine or premium beverage distribution networks and driving growth in diverse markets.

Job Description

As the Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and managing distributor and importer networks across Asia, with strong emphasis on Thailand, Singapore, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, Cambodia, Laos, Australia, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, and more.
  • Driving sales performance and achieving revenue targets through strategic planning and execution.
  • Building strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and key accounts to ensure brand visibility and portfolio growth.
  • Identifying new business opportunities and expanding market share in premium wine segments.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement promotional programs and ensure compliance with local regulations.
  • Monitoring market trends and competitor activity to inform strategic decisions.



The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum 5+ years of sales management experience in the wine or alcoholic beverage industry.
  • Proven experience in managing wine or premium beverage distribution across multiple Asian markets, with strong expertise in Thailand.
  • Established network of distributors and key accounts in the region.
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to develop effective go-to-market strategies.
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Passion for wine and ideally professional wine training (WSET Level 2 or above).
  • Proficiency in any major Asian language an advantage, especially Chinese, Japanese or Korean.
  • Ability to travel extensively across the region.
