About Our Client
Our client is a global multinational company with a strong presence in over 15 countries in Asia.
The Regional HR Director position will have a matrix reporting line to the business heads in Hong Kong as well as the functional HR Head in Europe. As an integral member of the senior management team, you will lead and manage local and regional teams to provide a full spectrum of HR services including, recruitment, compensation & benefits, talent management, employee relations and talent development. In addition to the HR operation responsibilities, another critical role will be to provide timely expert HR advice based on extensive analysis, and act as a true business partner to support regional business leaders throughout the M&A process. You will work closely with the key stakeholders at the headquarters, corporate office and major countries in developing and communicating the new HR policies, organisational structure, orientation programs on welfare schemes, compensation & benefits and resource planning to create more synergies across the two businesses.
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will be a degree qualified HR professional with a minimum of 15 years of experience preferably gained from a multinational or sizeable listed group at a corporate level. You will have a proven track record in managing and facilitating the full cycle in the M&A process whilst providing both strategic and operational human resources management in a regional leadership position. You must possess strong analytical, leadership and interpersonal skills, as well as the passion , energy, diplomacy, integrity and professionalism to act as the change agent to build an effective organisation. A sound command in English will be required and Chinese language skills will be a plus.
